JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for performing Data analysis, Data warehouse and SDLC in Software Development, Testing and Program Implementation.
Execute the design, coding, and testing necessary for the automated extraction of legacy COBOL data and formatting it into xml and other text based file layout specifications for external third party application integration.
Full functional knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts, development, and design.Provides technical expertise to the development and implementation of solutions using basic dimensional modeling techniques. Make recommendations for improvements in these areas, if necessary.
Provide business expertise for the development of Business Intelligence solutions.Provides technical support for existing Data Warehouse ETL processes.
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any Engineering field is required.
Masters degree in any of the above fields a plus
Minimum 2-4 years related experience.
Ability to code and test software applications.
Detail orientated with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong knowledge of Data Warehousing, SDLC, COBOL, XML and Software Development.
