Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Roofer Standing Seam to join our dynamic metal construction team. In this role, you will specialize in installing and maintaining standing seam metal roofs, ensuring durability, weather resistance, and aesthetic appeal for a variety of commercial project. Your expertise will help deliver high-quality roofing solutions that stand the test of time. Responsibilities
- Install and maintain standing seam metal roofing systems with precision and attention to detail.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently during installation processes.
- Ensure all work complies with construction safety regulations, including the proper use of safety harnesses and ladder safety procedures.
- Assist with siding installation, caulking, trim tasks as needed on construction sites.
- Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while adhering to safety protocols for outdoor work environments.
- Ensure proper installation according to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe work site by following all construction workplace safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven construction experience with a focus on metal roofing installation, preferably with metal roofing systems.
- Knowledge of construction site practices including ladder use, heavy lifting techniques, scaffolding setup, and fall protection measures such as safety harnesses.
- Experience working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, tile laying tools, caulking guns, framing tools, masonry equipment, carpentry tools including frame carpentry skills.
- Ability to perform metal stud framing or concrete forming as part of broader construction tasks is a plus.
- Prior handyman experience or general construction site experience is beneficial for versatility in project tasks.
