We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and customer-focused Junk Removal Specialist to join our growing team. This isn’t just a "lifting" job; you are the face of our company. You will be responsible for providing a stress-free experience for our clients by safely removing unwanted items—ranging from household furniture and appliances to yard waste and construction debris—while maintaining a professional and friendly attitude.
The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, likes being outdoors, and takes pride in helping people declutter and reclaim their space.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Heavy Lifting & Removal: Safely load, haul, and unload heavy items (furniture, appliances, etc.) from residential and commercial properties.
- Customer Service: Greet customers with a smile, provide on-site estimates when needed, and ensure they are 100% satisfied before leaving the site.
- Safe Operations: Navigate trucks/trailers safely and follow all safety protocols to prevent injury or damage to client property.
- Sorting & Disposal: Efficiently sort items for recycling, donation, or disposal at designated transfer stations.
- Teamwork: Work closely with a partner to complete jobs efficiently and maintain a clean, organized truck and equipment.
Qualifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 75+ lbs consistently throughout the day.
- Reliability: A strong work ethic and a track record of showing up on time.
- Communication: Professional demeanor and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
- License: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (preferred).
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: Previous experience in general labor, moving, landscaping, or construction is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person with a great attitude.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
