Join Our Growing Dermatology Practice!
We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented REGISTERED OR CERTIFIED Medical Assistant to join our busy dermatology team. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient care, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and enjoys working closely with physicians to deliver exceptional dermatologic care.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Escort patients to exam rooms and obtain medical histories and vital signs
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Assist physicians with biopsies, excisions and other treatments
- Document patient information accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Process prescriptions, referrals, and prior authorizations
- Prepare and sterilize instruments and maintain exam rooms
- Assist with patient communication as needed
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and office policies
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE CMA or RMA credential or certification must be obtained within 3 months of hire
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
