At Your Paws is a locally owned and family-operated mobile pet grooming business dedicated to providing high-quality, stress-free grooming services at the convenience of our clients’ homes. Our fully equipped grooming van allows us to deliver professional care while building strong relationships with pets and their families.
Position Overview
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Mobile Pet Groomer to join our team. This role is perfect for a self-motivated individual who loves animals, values customer service, and enjoys working independently. As a groomer, you will operate out of our grooming van and be the face of At Your Paws in the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Travel to scheduled client appointments in the company’s grooming van.
- Provide full grooming services: bathing, drying, brushing, clipping, trimming, nail care, ear cleaning, and gland expression.
- Perform breed-specific and owner-requested cuts with attention to detail.
- Ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of pets throughout the grooming process.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming van, tools, and equipment.
- Build lasting client relationships by delivering outstanding, friendly, and professional service.
- Accurately document services performed, add-on requests, and pet notes.
- Manage time effectively to stay on schedule with appointments.
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional grooming experience (mobile grooming experience a plus).
- Ability to safely handle pets of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments.
- Proficiency in grooming tools, techniques, and breed-specific standards.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented.
- Physically able to lift and handle dogs up to 100lbs.
