Project & Design Coordinator — Inspired Homes
At Inspired Homes, we build luxury custom homes where every detail matters, from the first design drawing to the final walkthrough. We're looking for a Design & Project Coordinator who thrives at the intersection of design, construction, and client service.
This role is hands-on and has high impact. You'll work directly with our Project Manager, field staff, clients, and trade partners to keep every project moving. From selections and drawings through field coordination and material delivery.
What You'll Do
Design & Drawings
- Produce interior design drawings including tile plans, plumbing and electrical layouts, appliance placements, and lighting heights, built as a coordinated, stacked drawing set.
- Work with owner helping guide clients through material and finish selections; manage presentation packages, mood boards, maintain design schedules and checklists.
- Ensure all drawings are current, accurate, and accessible to all parties throughout the project.
Project & Trade Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, vendors, and trades across all design phases.
- Distribute the correct, current drawing set to every trade before work begins. Reissue updates immediately when changes occur.
- Order materials as directed, receive and inspect deliveries, and distribute product to the appropriate job site location or trade.
- Act as the direct field contact when product is faulty, missing, or incorrect. Coordinate with vendors for replacements or corrections and keep the team informed until resolved.
Field Presence
- Attend key field appointments alongside the Project Manager and field staff to confirm work matches approved drawings and client selections.
- Clarify design details on site, document any deviations, and follow up on action items before the next phase begins.
Change Management
- Communicate changes promptly to the client and internal team.
- Process all design changes as Change Orders with updated estimates.
· Redline plans with changes, ensure all trades and team have up to date and accurate drawings.
What You Bring
- 3+ years of experience in residential interior design or design-build coordination (custom home experience strongly preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and comfort producing technical drawings
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Clear communicator — comfortable with clients, trades, vendors, and construction teams alike
- Detail-oriented with a process-driven mindset; you follow through
- A degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field, or proven work experience

Pay: $30.00 - $37.00 per hour
