What You'll Learn
As a JR / Entry-Level Technician, you'll work alongside experienced Lead Technicians while learning how to:
- Install professional low-voltage systems
- Run and terminate network cabling
- Install security cameras and surveillance systems
- Install access control systems
- Build and troubleshoot computer networks
- Read blueprints and construction drawings
- Configure IP devices and networking equipment
- Diagnose and repair system issues
- Deliver outstanding customer service
- Work safely and professionally on active job sites

Industry certifications are a plus but not required.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and work in various environments
- Basic computer skills
- Basic understanding of Windows PCs
- Willingness to travel occasionally throughout New Mexico and surrounding areas
- Ability to work overtime when projects require it
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with installing commercial and residential technology systems
- Pull and terminate low-voltage cabling
- Install security cameras, access control devices, and networking equipment
- Maintain organized job sites and company vehicles
- Complete daily documentation and job notes
- Troubleshoot equipment with assistance from senior technicians
- Attend manufacturer and company training
- Follow company safety standards
- Represent Next Level professionally at every customer site
- Communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and management
- Continue developing technical skills and certifications
