Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Guard to join our security team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires a proactive approach to security, strong observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations.
Duties
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect any suspicious activities or breaches of security.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Document incidents, observations, and actions taken in detailed reports.
- Participate in conflict management and resolution strategies to ensure a peaceful environment.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential risks and implementing appropriate measures.
Qualifications
- Valid armed security guard license or certificate is required. Class D & Class G License
- Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred.
- Knowledge of surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies is advantageous.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must pass background checks and comply with all legal requirements for armed security personnel.
