Annualized Salar/ Ranoe: The hourly pay range for this position is $46.05 - $60.25. The starting hourly pay range
is $46.05-$50,77 (DOQ),
Brief Description As a valued member of the Engineering Div. team, you will play a key roie in ensuring
of Duties: the safety, code compliance, and qua!ity of construction & deveiopment in the Village
through thorough and comprehensive review of civil engineering plans and
specifications to ensure strict adherence to Village zoning regulations, engineering
standards, and environmentai regulations; Under general supervision, this roie also
provides professional, customer-focused support to developers, contractors, and the
public, collaborates with internal departments and promotes sustainable building
practices to support the Vi!iage's long-term environmental and development goals;
Conducts the plan review and inspections of site improvements for private
development and associated work in the right-of-way (ROW) in conjunction with
planning, zoning, building, and engineering processes; Coordinates pian review
processes with internal departments (e.g. Fire, Planning, and Building), and provides
clear written and verbal feedback to applicants, design professionals, and contractors
regarding code compliance, deficiencies, and necessary revisions; Performs other
work-related duties, as assigned,
Required Training and Valid Driver's License; Minimum 5 years of experience in plan review, building
KnowiedQe: inspection, or related fie!d; Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering,
Construction Management, or a related field preferred; Working knowledge of the
Internationai Mechanicai Code (IMC), Internationat Plumbing Code (!PC), and other
!CC codes; Engineer-in-Training (E!T) or Professional Engineer (PE) license
preferred; Proficiency with permitting and plan review software (e,g, BS&A, BSuebeam)
Familiarity with civit/site plan elements including grading, stormwater management,
utilities, energy codes/sustainabiiity, and ADA accessibility; Strong communication
ski!!s and attention to detail required; Ability to interpret and apply complex codes and
regulations; Must follow ail safety rules of the Village,
