Apprentices are placed with partnered dealerships throughout San Diego County, with immediate opportunities currently available in North County San Diego (Carlsbad).

What You’ll Do
- Work full-time at a partnered dealership gaining real-world experience
- Complete online related-theory coursework and scheduled hands-on labs
- Learn preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and foundational technician skills
- Receive mentorship from experienced technicians and AAG staff
- Build toward nationally recognized industry certification
- Develop professional skills within a dealership environment
No prior automotive experience is required.
Candidates will complete a short Pre-Apprenticeship Training Program designed to prepare them for success before entering a dealership placement.

Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to commit to a 24-month registered apprenticeship program
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and coachable mindset
