American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring at least 1 year of experience, working night shifts on a 12-week contract.

Hospital Progressive Care Unit (PCU) setting

Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
-
Every other weekend required
-
No on-call responsibilities
-
Floating within the facility and scope of practice as needed

12-week contract length
-
Active GA RN license or Compact RN license required
-
Minimum 1 year of PCU or comparable nursing experience required

All applicable certifications must be current and available for consideration

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Local candidates are accepted for this position

RTO is capped at 7 days and may not be requested during the first week of the assignment

If one or two major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work those holidays with no RTO allowed on holiday dates; if three major holidays fall within the assignment period, travelers are expected to work two of them

Major holidays include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, and New Year's Eve/New Year's Day

No alternate shift or schedule change requests are permitted — the posted night shift is firm

Travelers must have been away from all facilities within this health system for a minimum of 1 full year before returning as a traveler

Full compliance with onboarding requirements is required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to a bi-weekly orientation schedule
