About Our Center:
Here We Grow Academy is a licensed, group childcare center caring for children 2 weeks – 11 years of age. We are open 6:00am – 6:00pm, Monday through Friday.
Available Position:
We are hiring a part-time, afternoon assistant childcare teacher to work in our infant and toddler classroom Monday – Friday (approximately 2:00 - 6:00pm). More hours may be available upon request.
Assistant Teacher Responsibilities:
- Care for the children in your classroom & provide them with a variety of age-appropriate activities
- Greet parents as they drop off and pick up children and assist with arrival & departure routine
- Change diapers, prepare bottles, fill out daily sheets
Assistant Teacher Requirements:
- Completion of a Child Development Course or its equivalent (ECE class)
- 6 months or more experience in a child care center or classroom
- SIDS/SBS course completed (or willing to obtain)
- CRP & 1st Aid Certificate (completed or willing to obtain)
