Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Teaching Assistant to support educators in providing high-quality education to students. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, particularly in daycare or special education settings. This role involves assisting with curriculum development, engaging with students, and fostering a positive learning environment.
Duties
- Assist teachers in the implementation of lesson plans and educational activities.
- Support students in their learning by providing one-on-one or small group assistance.
- Help manage classroom behavior and maintain a safe and productive learning environment.
- Participate in the development of curriculum and educational materials tailored to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Engage with students during activities, encouraging participation and enthusiasm for learning.
- Provide care for toddlers and young children, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout the day.
- Collaborate with educators to assess student progress and adapt teaching methods as necessary.
- Work with students with disabilities, offering tailored support to enhance their educational experience.
Experience
- Previous experience in daycare or childcare settings is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with curriculum development and educational strategies is a plus.
- Experience working with children, including those with special needs or disabilities.
- Knowledge of basic math concepts and the ability to assist students in understanding these principles.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff members.
- A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment for all students.
