Responsibilities
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Support the catering team by cleaning serving ware and assisting with setup or breakdown of banquet events.
- Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of clean dishes for food service operations.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in compliance with health regulations and company policies.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a restaurant, hotel, catering service, or food service environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and sanitation standards is advantageous.
- Experience with bussing tables or assisting in food preparation can be beneficial.
- Prior kitchen experience including working with culinary tools or equipment is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
