Holdenville General Hospital is searching for a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) who is dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care to our patients. Position Summary:
The CNA provides direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Med/Surg Department. This position assists with daily living activities, maintains a safe and clean environment, and ensures patients receive respectful, attentive, and quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
Obtain and record vital signs, intake/output, and other observations as directed
Assist nursing staff with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
Maintain patient comfort and safety at all times
Respond promptly to call lights and patient needs
Ensure proper documentation in the medical record
Follow infection control and hospital safety procedures
Support the nursing team and contribute to a positive, team-oriented work environment
Qualifications:
Current Oklahoma CNA certification required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Previous hospital or Med/Surg experience preferred, but not required
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
