The responsibilities of a Cook will include:
- Setting up the station according to restaurant guidelines.
- Preparing all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the restaurant.
- Restocking all items as needed throughout the shift.
- Cleaning and maintaining the station by practicing good safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
- Understanding how to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
- Assisting with the cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Performing additional responsibilities, although not detailed, as requested by the Kitchen Manager.
- Receiving, storing, and rotating all food/paper stock.
Working Conditions:
- This position will spend 100% of the time standing.
- Occasional environmental exposures to cold, heat, and water.
- The individual must be able to transport up to 50 pounds on occasion and up to 35 pounds regularly.
- Must be able speak, read and understand basic cooking directions.
Experience:
This position includes working nights and weekends, and some major holidays.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
