Interventional Cardiologist – Flexible Block Schedule

Position Highlights:
- Schedule: Full-time equivalent (182.5 days/year) with a structured block schedule (ex: 14 days on/14 days off). 1-3 year contract.
Where flexibility meets stability. Block scheduling gives you predictable time on and true time off.
- Clinical Responsibilities:
- Inpatient Consults and Rounding
- Outpatient cardiology
- 24/7 call during block schedule
- Diagnostic & Interpretive Duties:
- Diagnostic LHC/RHC – Coronary angiography
- Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) /IVUS
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
- Supervise or interpret stress testing
- Echocardiogram (ECHO)
- Procedures:
- Cardiac Cath – Diagnostic/PCI
- Cardioversion
- IABP/Impella
- Temporary Pacemakers
- Permanent Pacemakers (Preferred but not required)
- Collaborative Environment: Work closely with PCPs, Hospitalists,
Requirements:
- Board Certification in Interventional Cardiology
- AK License- Licensure facilitation provided
