Position Overview
KEWW is hiring dependable Catering Event Staff for temporary, on-call assignments. This position is ideal for hospitality professionals seeking flexible work without a fixed weekly schedule.
Depending on your experience, qualifications, and certifications, you may receive opportunities in either Front of House or Back of House.
Front of House assignments may include:
- Event serving
- Bartending
- Guest check-in
- Event setup and breakdown
- General event support
Back of House assignments may include:
- Banquet or kitchen support
- Food preparation and plating
- Pantry work
- Dishwashing
- Maintaining clean and organized work areas
Each shift notification includes the assigned role, responsibilities, hourly rate, schedule, location, dress code, and arrival instructions. You may review these details before deciding whether to accept the assignment.
Responsibilities
- Review all shift details before accepting an assignment
- Arrive on time and in the required uniform
- Check in with the designated on-site supervisor
- Perform the duties listed in the shift description
- Assist with event setup, service, and breakdown
- Provide professional and courteous guest service
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
- Follow food safety, alcohol service, and workplace safety requirements
- Clock in and out through the KEWW platform
- Remain for the entire accepted shift
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Hospitality, catering, banquet, restaurant, event, or kitchen experience preferred
- Reliable transportation to and from assignments
- Smartphone with dependable internet access
- Professional appearance and communication
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds when required
- TABC certification required for bartending assignments
- Food Handler certification required when applicable
On-Call Scheduling
This is an on-call position. Weekly hours and shift availability vary based on client needs, employee qualifications, and accepted assignments. Hours are not guaranteed.
Available shifts may be located within approximately 50 miles of your home address. Once you accept an assignment, you are expected to arrive on time and complete the entire shift.
