Job Description
NSPA is looking for a Assembly machine operator to join our team. Available part-time shift hours are: 5:00 AM-10:00 AM or 10:00 AM -3:00 PM only. The ideal candidate will be able to work efficiently as part of a team, take initiative and be self-motivated. The person we are looking for is detail oriented, organized, has great time management skills and is willing to work hard in order to meet goals. We are looking for someone who has a knack for troubleshooting and repairing machine equipment.
Essential Functions:
Hand feeds material, Operates and troubleshoots Assembly machines during a single shift.
- Great Hand dexterity required (this job requires the use of hand and fingers)
- Perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to handle material weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Verify that all job material being assembled is the correct part # and qty per job
- QC product coming off the machine to make sure the parts conform to quality standards
- Work with a team of Machine operators and supervisor to meet production goals
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
- Maintain cleanliness of work area, equipment, and warehouse
- Work safely around equipment and report any issues to manager or supervisor
- Work in our ERP system to log jobs and report job qty's
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
- At least 1 year experience in manufacturing environment; experience with pneumatic equipment
- Ablility to lift 50 lbs.
- Work with your hands in tight spaces
