Whether you specialize in skincare, hair styling, or grooming, your expertise will help create memorable experiences for the Bella Vista community that has 5 buildings with approximately 17 stories each building, causing high demand for beauty services, especially hair. Responsibilities
- Deliver expert skincare treatments such as facials, eyelash extensions, and waxing to meet individual client needs.
- Perform hair styling services including cuts, coloring, highlights, hair extensions, and special occasion styles.
- Provide professional barbering services like straight razor shaves, beard trims, and traditional grooming techniques.
- Assist clients with retail sales of beauty products and upselling to enhance their experience while meeting store goals.
- Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by adhering to all health regulations and store policies.
- Use salon management software such as MINDBODY to schedule appointments, process transactions, and manage client records efficiently.
- Offer personalized consultations on hair coloring techniques, color theory applications, and product recommendations.
- Mentor new team members by sharing expertise in customer service excellence and technical skills like hair threading or makeup application.
- Support front desk operations by greeting clients warmly, managing appointment bookings, and ensuring a smooth flow of daily activities.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology or barbering license required; additional certifications in esthetics or nail care are a plus.
- Proven experience working in the beauty industry with a strong portfolio of diverse services including hair styling, coloring, and skincare treatments.
- Proficiency with salon software such as MINDBODY or similar platforms for scheduling and retail management.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices and safety protocols essential for maintaining a hygienic environment.
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their beauty goals.
- Ability to perform advanced techniques like hair extensions, eyelash extensions, makeup application, and hair threading confidently.
- Retail sales experience with an aptitude for upselling products that complement client treatments.
- Familiarity with store management concepts including retail math for inventory control and sales tracking is advantageous.
- We are looking for 2 cosmetologists, two barbers, and one esthetician. A massage therapist and nail tech willing be considered and all professionals being willing to offer senior discounts are encouraged.
