We are currently seeking a motivated Project Manager / Estimator to support both pre-construction and project execution efforts across a variety of commercial construction projects.
Position Summary
The Project Manager / Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive project estimates while also managing awarded projects from contract through completion. This role is ideal for a construction professional who enjoys being involved in the full project lifecycle—from bidding through closeout.
Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to job sites and pre-bid meetings daily.

Key ResponsibilitiesEstimating & Pre-Construction
- Review architectural drawings, specifications, and addenda
- Perform detailed material takeoffs and quantity counts
- Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing
- Prepare accurate labor, material, and subcontractor cost estimates
- Assemble and submit complete bid packages under tight deadlines
- Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and walkthroughs
Project Management & Execution
- Manage awarded projects from contract award through completion
- Develop project schedules, work plans, and logistics strategies
- Coordinate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Monitor project progress, budget, and schedule performance
- Manage change orders, scope adjustments, and cost tracking
Client & Stakeholder Coordination
- Serve as a primary point of contact for owners, general contractors, and subcontractors
- Conduct project meetings and provide regular status updates
- Resolve project issues efficiently while maintaining positive relationships
Field Oversight & Quality Control
- Coordinate with field supervisors and subcontractors to ensure quality workmanship
- Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and company policies
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and address issues
Project Closeout & Handoff
- Transition awarded bids smoothly into production
- Oversee punch lists, inspections, and final documentation
- Support successful project closeout and client satisfaction
Skills and Qualifications
- Experience in construction estimating and project management preferred
- Experience with commercial construction projects
- Procore Estimating and/or Procore Project Management experience preferred
- Proficient with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time-management skills
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
- Experience in roofing (shingle, EPDM, TPO, standing seam), siding, flooring, drywall, and painting preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Schedule
- 40 hours per week (schedule to be discussed)
