Summary:
We are seeking a skilled PT (Physical Therapist) to join our team at BrightStar Care. The PT will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through effective rehabilitation strategies and personalized treatment plans. As a PT, your expertise will contribute significantly to our mission of providing exceptional care.
Responsibilities:
- The PT will make home visits to clients in designated geographic territories
- The PT will perform diagnostic tests and measurements, including mobility/range of motion, transfer status, ambulation patterns, muscle strength and endurance, balance testing, and safety assessments
- The PT will develop and implement individualized care plans, including therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance interventions, and other treatments
- The PT will continually assess and revise the Physical Therapy (PT) care plan and collaborate with nursing on multidisciplinary care plans
- The PT will educate clients, family members, and caregivers on rehabilitative care and techniques to promote independence
- The PT will accurately document observations, interventions, and evaluations related to client care
Qualifications:
- Current Maryland PT (Physical Therapist) license required
- The PT must be able to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills expected from the PT
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with EMR systems preferred for the PT role
Pay: $80.00 - $90.00 per hour
