Service Manager
Position Summary
Bloomchroma Renewable is seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Service Manager to lead all after-sales service activities across North America. This role will be responsible for warranty management, technical support coordination, customer issue resolution, field service operations, and continuous improvement of customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate has experience in the solar, electrical equipment, energy, or manufacturing industries and is comfortable working in a fast-growing startup environment where processes are being built from the ground up.

Reports To: HQ Sales VP
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service & Support
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product performance, technical inquiries, warranty claims, and service-related issues.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, EPCs, installers, developers, and end customers.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer concerns and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Develop service procedures, escalation protocols, and customer communication standards.
Warranty Management
- Manage all warranty claim activities from intake through closure.
- Review warranty requests and determine root causes of product failures or field performance issues.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to investigate and resolve claims.
- Track warranty costs, trends, and corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records and reporting related to warranty performance.
Technical Service & Field Support
- Coordinate field inspections and site visits when required.
- Support customers with troubleshooting, commissioning assistance, and technical guidance.
- Work closely with internal engineering teams to provide technical solutions.
- Manage third-party service providers and contractors when field support is required.
Quality & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze customer complaints and field failure data to identify recurring issues.
- Provide feedback to manufacturing and quality teams to drive product improvements.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), corrective actions (CAPA), and preventive actions.
- Support quality audits and customer quality reviews.
Service Operations
- Establish KPIs and service performance metrics.
- Monitor response times, resolution times, customer satisfaction, and warranty costs.
- Develop service budgets and resource planning.
- Build and scale customer service infrastructure as the company grows.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Product and Operations teams.
- Support key customer meetings and strategic account reviews.
- Provide service-related training to customers and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in customer service, technical support, warranty management, field service, or quality management.
- Experience in solar energy, electrical equipment, industrial manufacturing, renewable energy, or related industries.
- Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
- Excellent communication and customer relationship management abilities.
- Ability to travel up to 20%.
- Experience supporting utility-scale solar projects.
- Knowledge of PV modules, inverters, BOS equipment, or energy storage systems.
- Experience managing warranty programs and service teams.
- Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce.
- Understanding of quality systems and CAPA processes.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
