Responsibilities
- Engage with customers to understand their automotive needs and recommend suitable parts, accessories, or services.
- Demonstrate strong product knowledge of automotive diagnostics, repair, maintenance, and parts management to assist customers effectively.
- Manage inventory control and stocking of automotive parts and accessories to ensure product availability.
- Utilize POS systems for accurate sales transactions, cash handling, and order fulfillment.
- Negotiate prices and terms with customers to close sales while maintaining excellent customer service standards.
- Maintain organized records of sales activities, customer interactions, and inventory using Microsoft Excel or CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
- Support marketing efforts by promoting special offers and new products to boost retail sales.
Requirements
- Proven experience in retail sales, preferably within an automotive dealership or parts store.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and automotive diagnostics knowledge.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities (bilingual is a plus).
- Familiarity with automotive service processes, vehicle systems, and auto parts management.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Organizational skills to manage inventory control, stock replenishment, and order processing.
- Knowledge of dealership operations, inventory management software, and retail math principles.
