Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Formulation and Raw Material Support Assistant to join our dynamic research and development team. The candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and technical support to the Formulation Department by managing and following up on information related to raw materials and ingredients. This position will assist in obtaining pricing, samples, technical specifications, and required documentation for the evaluation and qualification of new and existing materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Request and follow up on quotations, samples, technical specifications, and documentation for raw materials and ingredients.
- Maintain updated pricing information and raw material records.
- Review technical documentation and specifications to ensure compliance with internal requirements.
- Coordinate sample requests for formulation evaluations and pilot trials.
- Create and maintain raw material codes within internal systems.
- Support the qualification process for new raw materials.
- Serve as a communication liaison between the Formulation Department, Procurement, and suppliers.
- Participate in meetings and communications with domestic and international suppliers.
- Support departmental document organization and control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient flow of information and materials.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal).
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- High level of attention to detail and organization.
- Basic knowledge of chemistry and mathematics.
- Strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
- Previous experience in formulation, procurement, quality, supply chain, or related industries preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a results-oriented environment.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
