Responsibilities
- Carry out treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, activities, and functional training
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist
- Accurately document treatments and patient responses
- Educate patients and family members on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Maintain a positive, encouraging, and professional patient experience
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure high-quality care and optimal outcomes
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Michigan
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and documentation abilities
- Ability to work effectively with patients of diverse backgrounds and ages
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred, but not required
- Bilingual (English/Arabic) strongly preferred, but not required
