Core Duties:
Perform monthly Bank reconciliation for all accounts including Investments and maintain fixed assets records.
Process adjusting journal entries for accruals and cash basis financial statements.
Ensure that receivables and payables are current and correct.
Approve monthly paid bills for printing and issuing of checks.
Analyze accounting entries in QuickBooks postings for GL postings accuracy.
Coordinate preparation for annual audit with external CPA firm.
Produce monthly financial statements using both cash and accrual basis as scheduled.
Prepare and file 1099 for year end.
Qualifications:
Substantial experience (3-5 years) High level of understanding of QuickBooks desktop version
Professional certification (such as becoming a Certified Bookkeeper through AICPA or NACPB) or A.A. in Accounting
Extensive understanding of Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Excellent organizational skills with attention to details
Strong written and oral communication skills and working in a team environment.
Strong working knowledge of Excel and MS Office 365
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
