Position Summary
The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for managing the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of materials and products to support operational efficiency and inventory accuracy. This role works closely with operations, purchasing, and warehouse personnel to ensure materials are received, documented, stored, and shipped safely and in compliance with company standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Control & Documentation
· Ensure accurate inventory control and documentation of all incoming and outgoing materials.
· Maintain inventory records and support cycle count and inventory reconciliation activities.
· Verify receipts, shipments, and material transfers for accuracy and completeness.
Shipping & Receiving Operations
· Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments in a timely manner.
· Prepare, package, and coordinate outgoing shipments.
· Optimize workflow to meet deadlines and operational goals.
Collaboration & Support
· Collaborate with other departments to support supply chain and operational processes.
· Communicate material availability, shipping status, and inventory concerns to internal stakeholders.
· Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and service levels.
Safety & Compliance
· Maintain compliance with company safety policies and regulatory standards.
· Operate warehouse equipment and perform duties in a safe and responsible manner.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
· High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
· Minimum of 1 year of shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, or related experience.
· Basic computer skills and attention to detail.

Supervisory Responsibilities
· No supervisory experience required.
