Duties
- Develop tailored personal training programs that align with clients’ goals, fitness levels, and health conditions
- Lead group fitness classes such as cardio, strength, yoga, Pilates, cycling, CrossFit, and dance-based sessions with enthusiasm and clear instruction
- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safe practice through hands-on guidance and practice sessions
- Monitor clients’ progress regularly and adjust programs to optimize results while maintaining motivation
- Educate participants on anatomy, biomechanics, physiology, body mechanics, and injury prevention techniques including manual handling and first aid procedures
- Promote membership sales by providing excellent customer service and explaining available programs and services
- Maintain a clean, organized workout environment adhering to health and safety standards including CPR and AED operation protocols
Requirements
- Proven experience in personal training and group fitness instruction within a health club or gym environment
- Certifications in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator), first aid, and relevant fitness disciplines such as Yoga, Pilates, CrossFit, or sports coaching
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, body mechanics, and program design principles
- Proficiency in teaching diverse fitness classes including kickboxing, cycling, dancing, yoga, Pilates, and sports coaching techniques
- Ability to demonstrate exercises effectively while ensuring safety during heavy lifting or high-intensity activities
- Excellent coaching skills with the ability to motivate individuals and groups of all ages and fitness levels
- Familiarity with gym equipment operation and manual handling procedures
- Passion for health promotion combined with strong communication skills to educate clients on fitness sales strategies and healthy lifestyle choices
