BCMW is seeking an Instructional Coach to support teaching staff in delivering high-quality early childhood education. This role focuses on strengthening teacher-child interactions, classroom practices, and behavior support through ongoing coaching and data-informed strategies.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one and small group coaching to teaching staff
- Conduct classroom observations and provide feedback using CLASS
- Support effective curriculum implementation (Creative Curriculum, TS Gold)
- Analyze CLASS and child outcome data to guide coaching
- Model, co-teach, and demonstrate effective teaching practices
- Facilitate reflective conversations and goal-setting with staff
- Maintain coaching logs, monitoring reports, and documentation
- Support professional development and ongoing staff learning
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Minimum 5 years experience in early childhood education
- Strong knowledge of curriculum, CLASS, and child development
- Experience training, mentoring, or coaching adults
- Ability to provide direct, real-time coaching in classrooms, model effective practices, and give clear, actionable feedback to staff
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old (DCFS requirement)
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel
- Ability to pass background checks (DCFS & criminal)
- TB test clearance
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)
