Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Steward to join our dynamic team. As a Steward/Dishwasher, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment at our event venues. Your enthusiasm and management skills will ensure seamless operations, exceptional guest services, and a positive atmosphere for all attendees.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all event spaces, kitchens, and service areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation
- Assist with setup and breakdown of event equipment, furniture, and supplies efficiently and safely
- Support water safety initiatives by providing water safety instruction and ensuring compliance with safety protocols
- Manage facilities operations including equipment maintenance, inventory control, and supply replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries promptly and professionally
- Implement health and safety procedures, including first aid response when necessary, ensuring guest well-being at all times
- Collaborate with management to oversee event logistics, manage budgets, and optimize operational workflows
Skills
- Proven experience in events management or hospitality management within event venues or resorts
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster team development
- Excellent communication skills suitable for managerial roles and team coordination
- Knowledge of water safety instruction, CPR certification, AED operation, and first aid procedures
- Experience in budget management, cash handling, and operational management within hospitality settings
- Ability to handle facilities management tasks including maintenance oversight and safety compliance
- Demonstrated ability to deliver outstanding guest services while managing multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
