Responsibilities
- Perform routine pool cleaning, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and netting debris to keep pools sparkling.
- Conduct water chemistry balancing by testing pH levels, chlorine residuals, alkalinity, and other chemical parameters; adjust chemicals accordingly to ensure safe water conditions.
- Troubleshoot and repair pool equipment such as pumps, filters, heaters, valves, and plumbing systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Maintain and service pool plumbing systems to prevent leaks or malfunctions; replace worn or damaged parts as needed.
- Handle water treatment chemicals safely and accurately according to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.
- Inspect pools regularly for mechanical issues or safety hazards; perform preventive maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
- Operate company vehicles responsibly while transporting tools, chemicals, and equipment to job sites in outdoor environments.
Experience
- Prior experience working with pool maintenance or aquatic facilities is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of pool plumbing systems, mechanical components, and water treatment chemical handling is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot pool equipment issues efficiently using hand tools and power tools.
- Strong understanding of pool chemistry balancing techniques to maintain safe and clean water conditions.
- Customer service skills are important for communicating effectively with clients about pool status or repairs.
- Outdoor work experience is beneficial due to the nature of the job environment.
- Previous service technician experience involving equipment repair and maintenance will set you apart as a candidate ready to excel in this role.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
