HVAC Technician – Commercial & Industrial Systems
Location: Marion, Ohio
Salary Range: $37,500 – $78,000 annually

Job Summary
Area Energy & Electric, Inc. is hiring a skilled HVAC Technician to install, service, and maintain heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems at commercial and industrial locations. This full-time role offers hands-on work with advanced HVAC equipment and opportunities for career growth in a safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service HVAC systems including rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, pumps, and split systems
- Modify and install ductwork for commercial and industrial applications
- Perform installation and startup of ductless heat pump systems
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC components and controls
- Interpret schematic diagrams, blueprints, and client specifications
- Ensure compliance with job site safety protocols and company safety orientation
Required Qualifications
- Universal EPA refrigerant license
- 06A license (preferred)
- PTCS Duct Seal and Commissioning certification (preferred)
- Knowledge of low-voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and specifications
- Strong understanding of HVAC safety procedures and best practices
- Reliable, efficient, and able to work well in team environments
- Must complete OSHA 30 certification within 30 days of hire (company-funded)
