Do you enjoy helping people, building relationships, and making someone's day better? Our growing optometry practice is looking for a friendly, motivated Medical Technician to join our team.
No medical experience is required. We will train the right person who has a positive attitude, strong customer service skills, and a willingness to learn. This position offers the opportunity to develop skills in patient care, front office operations, insurance, and other areas of the practice.

Responsibilities
- Greet and check in patients
- Answer phones and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance benefits and review coverage with patients
- Obtain patient medical histories and update records
- Prepare patients for their exam by performing pre-testing procedures and collecting clinical information
- Measure visual acuity and perform diagnostic testing, including retinal photography, visual fields, tonometry, autorefractor, and lensometry
- Train new contact lens wearers on insertion and removal
- Maintain contact lens inventory and office supplies
- Prepare exam rooms and testing areas
- Triage patient concerns and communicate urgent needs appropriately
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment
Qualifications
- Previous medical, healthcare, retail, or customer service experience is preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with technology and learning new equipment
- Dependable, professional, and patient-focused
