Join our dynamic team as a Residential Construction Site Supervisor and lead the successful execution of residential building projects from start to finish. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily construction activities on residential sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety protocols.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to optimize workflow and productivity.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical documents to verify accuracy and clarity before work begins.
- Monitor construction schedule coordination using software tools like Primavera P6 or Construction management software to keep projects on track.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets design specifications, building codes, and federal safety regulations such as OSHA standards.
- Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately; oversee construction schedule updates and adjustments as needed.
- Oversee budgeting processes, including cost tracking and managing contracts to stay within financial parameters.
- Utilize tools such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and Ohmmeter for project documentation, measurement verification, and technical assessments.
- Lead construction site safety initiatives by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal safety standards; conduct regular safety audits.
- Review construction schedules regularly to identify potential delays or issues; implement corrective actions promptly.
- Ensure all work complies with environmental regulations and best practices for sustainable building.
Experience
- Proven experience supervising residential construction sites with a strong background in managing teams in a construction management role.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools.
- Demonstrated ability in construction scheduling, project planning, budgeting, and contract management.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction estimating processes.
- Hands-on experience with construction site safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards and federal regulations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control.
- Familiarity with managing pipeline projects from inception through completion; experience in managing complex residential developments preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating between clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
