Job Requirements
We are currently looking to fill a Warehouse Trainer Intern - 2nd Shift position at Four Seasons Family of Companies. If you have years of experience working at a warehouse distribution center and using equipment such as a high-lift, electric pallet jack and warehouse management system. We are in search of someone who displays successful results and has a passion with teaching others on how to be safe, successful with performance metrics.
THE BASICS:
- Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday through Friday 1pm- 9pm (Weekends as needed)
- Location: Ephrata, PA
WHAT YOU DO:
- Set an example that is consistent with the Core Values of Four Seasons Produce, Inc.
- Facilitate classroom and on-the job training
- Certify associates on material handling equipment and systems
- Train on safety and operational guidelines, sharing best practices, demonstrating proper technique
- Administer written examinations and operational skill tests to determine competence
- Conduct food and work safety compliance training
- Prepare new hires to reach productivity standards necessary for their role
- Identify training gaps and offer suggestions to improve the quality and effectiveness of the training program
- Report on individual training and escalating concerns
- Assist the Operations Team when required
WHAT YOU BRING:
- High School Diploma or Equivalency
- 1 year warehouse experience (required)
- Certification on warehouse equipment including pallet jack, pacer and high lift
- Flexibility is required to allow for conducting and providing training across multiple shifts
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) communication skills preferred, both verbal and written
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- Ability to act as a collaborative Team Member and influence change
