The DMSE is the Centra education leader who supervises the scheduling and coordination of clinical rotations for LUCOM medical students at Centra and in the Central Virginia region. The DMSE works closely with LUCOM leadership to ensure medical students receive great clinical experiences. The DMSE also communicates, develops, and implements educational strategies- in collaboration with both internal and external partners- to support Centra’s mission, vision, values, and strategic plans, ensuring a measurable retention of Centra trained students as long-term employees for Centra. Required Qualifications:
- M.D./D.O.
- 5 years’ experience in medical education
- Strong experience in education administration
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Travel Required
Travel is expected to be between 5- 10%.
Work Environment:
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The setting for this role will include office and healthcare settings. Exposure to controlled temperature environments, both hot and cold, is to be expected.
Workplace Exposure:
