American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and Epic charting experience for a community hospital night shift position.
-
Community hospital setting within the Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics department
-
Care for adult critical care and emergency department patients
-
Patient conditions include ARDS, aspiration, COVID, cystic fibrosis, fresh tracheostomy, and pneumonia
-
Perform bronchoscopy assistance, ventilator management, and airway management procedures
-
Utilizes Epic EMR system
-
Night shift schedule with a mix of 12-hour (7p-7a) and 8-hour (11p-7a) shifts
-
0.9 FTE with every other weekend required
-
Holiday coverage as needed
-
No floating or call requirements
-
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
-
Community hospital experience required
-
RRT certification required (CRT not accepted)
-
BLS and NRP certifications required
-
Epic charting experience required
-
Prior travel experience required
-
Experience with ventilator management, ABG interpretation, and airway suctioning

Experience with medication delivery systems and administration including nebulizers, MDIs, and various respiratory medications

Experience caring for patients with COVID-19

License required if applicable
-
May be assigned to care for COVID-positive patients

Facility is tobacco and fragrance free

Candidates must complete a clinical pre-screen for fit prior to manager interview

RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days

Local candidates within a 50-mile radius may be considered at a lower pay rate
