Savory Spice is looking for our next team member to join the Savory Spice family! Work out of our corporate warehouse in the eCommerce department facilitating online spice orders. Work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, with a variety of spices and range of job responsibilities. On the job training for all required tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Bottling, bagging, sealing, and labeling spices for retail sale in a food-safe environment. Attention to detail is a must!
- Labeling product (spice jars and spice packets) both the use of label machines and hand labeling tasks required.
- Packaging products into boxed kits.
- Picking online orders for e-commerce department.
- Packing and shipping of picked orders.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with e-commerce operations and procedures.
- Current Safe-Serv certification is highly desired but not required.
- Basic computer skills, able to navigate and use shipping software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order of picking and inventory management.
- Must be ok with repetitive tasks.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Able to work the entire holiday season.
- Must be able to routinely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
- Hours 6:30am-3pm M-TH, F 6:30am-1pm - OT and some weekends may be necessary during holidays (Oct – Jan).
