We are looking for 1st Shift 0630am-230pm, 2nd Shift 230pm-1030pm, and 3rd shift 1030pm-630am, (2nd & 3rd shift premiums)
Under the general direction of the Maintenance Manager, performs maintenance of the plant buildings and grounds, and maintenance and repair of plant equipment and machinery.
1. Ability to perform all normal maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and facilities
2. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant equipment including at least mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electronic controls and safety equipment
3. Ability to maintain, troubleshoot and repair plant facilities including at least electric, plumbing, heating, ventilation, compressed air and carpentry
4. Complete new equipment and facility projects including material list, part specifications and cost tracking.
5. Ability to weld and braze
6. Ability to use measuring and diagnostic instruments
7. Ability to interpret electric, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit drawings
8. Ability to use all hand tools required as well as most tool room machinery
9. Pass fork-lift operation training course
10. Track equipment repair cost
Requirements:
1. Perform all normal maintenance and repair of all plant equipment and facilities
2. Build and develop machines and equipment for new products including tracking of materials used and hours applied.
3. Improve current production by building and developing machines and equipment to reduce process variation; improve production rates; combine operations and improve ergonomics.
4. Effectively troubleshoot and repair production machines and other equipment to maintain production and keep down time low
5. Make and install machine guards and install other safety devices to machines
6. Use machine tools and measuring equipment to make or repair parts for above.
7. Use all standard mechanical and electrical tools and instruments for diagnostics and troubleshooting.
8. Perform preventative maintenance and document
9. Design, install and troubleshoot hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical controls for new and existing machinery and equipment
10. Assist other departments or functions as requested by supervisor
