Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early childhood education and align with developmental milestones.
- Create a positive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and learning.
- Provide individualized attention to each child, catering to their unique needs and learning styles.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and any incidents that occur during class.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid protocols.
- Collaborate with other educators and staff to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Experience
- Previous experience infant care in a daycare or caregiving settings is preferred.
- A background in early childhood education is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is an asset.
- must be able to lift min. 45 pounds - must be able to get up and down off the floor with children
This is an active position and requires getting up and down off the floor safely; lifting bending and stooping with children. Charting of children's food and bottles and diapers is also required.
Pay based on experience and face to face interview.
Daily start time is 7:30am. Dress code is scrubs.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $8.50 - $10.00 per hour
