Hopewell Health Centers is a nationally accredited federally qualified health and community mental health center with 23 sites across TEN counties throughout Southeastern Ohio(Athens, Franklin, Gallia, Hocking, Jackson, Meigs, Perry, Ross, Vinton, and Washington). We are currently seeking a Dental Hygienist to join our Chillicothe, OH team.
As a Dental Hygienist, you will prepare the dental operatory for the specific procedure; Takes patient’s vital signs and any radiographs as needed for the exam; Complete in-house lab procedures as determined by the Dentist and assists Dentist with dental procedures. You will competently operate standard dental equipment which may include autoclave, air/water syringe, suction, x-ray unit, dental units and other office specific equipment. Coordinates patient intake and preparation for exam functions in a constant, steady fashion.
What do we look for in our Dental Hygienists??
- Eligible to work in the United Stated
- Graduate of accredited school of Dental Hygiene and licensed by the state of Ohio.
- General operator’s license in dental radiology required.
- Position requires current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR),
- Good verbal and written communication skills as well as exemplary customer service skills.
