Monday- Thursday 8:0am-5:00pm
Friday 6:00am-2:00pm
Responsibilities
- RF scanners to load, unload, and transport materials safely across the warehouse.
- Perform order picking using <PERSON> pickers and other warehouse management systems to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Handle heavy lifting tasks while adhering to OSHA safety standards to prevent injuries and maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with construction-related materials handling when required, supporting project needs with mechanical knowledge and heavy equipment operation.
- Support warehouse supervision by maintaining organized storage areas, conducting regular safety inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Use RF scanners and other mechanical tools to track inventory movements, update warehouse management systems, and ensure precise stock levels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments with a strong understanding of materials handling procedures.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language (e.g., Spanish) to effectively communicate with diverse team members.
- Valid certification for forklift operation, crane operation, clamp truck, or other heavy equipment preferred.
- Experience operating RF scanners, pallet jacks, load/unload machinery, and other warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and warehouse safety practices.
- Mechanical aptitude with basic understanding of construction or industrial machinery is a plus.
- Previous experience in shipping & receiving or order picking roles is highly desirable.
