Job Summary: Millwright Carpenters will safely and effectively perform general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities at the Dillard Lumber mill site.
Key Responsibilities:

Demonstrated ability to perform structural framing, including layout and construction of walls and roofs, with basic knowledge of rafter layout and cutting techniques.

Experience with concrete work, including demolition/removal, forming for new concrete pours, and cutting, placing, and tying rebar.

Ability to install exterior siding materials, including both wood and metal applications.

Working knowledge of flooring installation, including measuring, layout, and installation of common flooring materials.

Experience building and installing cabinetry, including cabinet box construction, drawer installation, and door fitting/alignment.

Performs other related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 49 pounds and perform physically demanding work in varying environments.

Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company safety policies and procedures.

Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment commonly used in carpentry and concrete work.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, tape measurements, and project specifications.

Strong attention to detail, workmanship quality, and jobsite safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications:

3–5 years of experience in carpentry, millwright, construction, or a related skilled trade environment
Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods of standing and walking

Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces

Must be able to lift up to 49 pounds at a time
