Pineville Rehabilitation and Living Center is seeking an experienced, compassionate, and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our leadership team as an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON).

As the Assistant Director of Nursing, you will assist in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating the daily operations of the nursing department while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and company regulations. You will help lead quality improvement initiatives, support staff development, and promote outstanding resident care.
Assist the Director of Nursing with the daily operations of the nursing department
Recruit, onboard, mentor, and develop nursing staff
Coordinate and facilitate staff education and required in-service training
Ensure nursing staff maintain current licenses, certifications, and required competencies
Support the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, including MDS completion, care planning, and regulatory timelines
Monitor assessments and documentation for accuracy and compliance
Participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Assist with survey readiness and regulatory compliance
Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality resident care
Serve as acting Director of Nursing as needed
Required
Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Care (SNF/LTC) facility
Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, survey readiness, and nursing operations
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Preferred
Three or more years of nursing leadership or management experience
Experience with MDS, RAI process, care planning, and quality improvement
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff
