Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Assembler with at least one year of trailer assembly experience to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling trailers with precision, ensuring all components meet quality standards, and adhering to safety protocols. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide assembly processes
- Use power tools, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and machining equipment to assemble trailer components accurately
- Perform mechanical assembly tasks following safety standards and quality control procedures
- Conduct inspections for defect detection and ensure all assembled parts meet specifications
- Handle heavy lifting safely using appropriate manual handling techniques or equipment such as forklifts
- Follow safety protocols in accordance with industry standards to maintain a safe working environment
- Utilize calipers, and other measuring tools to verify component dimensions and fitment
Skills
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Proficiency in welding techniques and mechanical assembly processes
- Mechanical knowledge of trailer components, pneumatic systems, and machining operations
- Experience with manual handling, heavy lifting, and operating forklifts safely
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety standards in production environments, and quality control practices
- Ability to detect defects through visual inspection and measurement tools such as calipers
- Skilled in using power tools, hand tools, CNC lathes, and other machining equipment for precise assembly tasks
