Step into a rewarding opportunity working with K-12 students as a Physical Therapist in an educational environment near Grove City, OH. This contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact in children's daily lives, fostering their academic and physical development through specialized therapy and support.
You’ll work closely with a dedicated team of educators and related service professionals to provide individualized and group therapy to students across a diverse caseload. This position is full-time, with a standard schedule of 37.5 hours per week over 5 days. The contract begins as soon as possible and runs through late May 2027, and also includes a unique maternity leave assignment from October through the remainder of the school year.
Qualifications:
- Holds an active Ohio Physical Therapist license
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Experience or interest in pediatric/school-based settings
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy services and interventions to K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success
- Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of therapy sessions and progress
- Participate in IEP meetings, staff trainings, and ongoing professional development
- Adapt therapy strategies based on student and teacher feedback
