Duties
- Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Manage conflict situations professionally, maintaining calm and clear communication with customers during stressful roadside events.
- Use manual transmissions confidently while navigating various road conditions and urban environments.
- Perform vehicle inspections prior to towing, checking for mechanical issues or safety concerns that may impact transport.
- Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and customer interactions for record-keeping purposes.Qualifications
- Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models, with a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions (manual preferred), brakes, and electrical components.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving is highly desirable.
- Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while adhering to safety standards.
- Skilled in conflict management with excellent customer service skills to handle stressful situations professionally.

- When there are no tows the driver has to be at the gas station and help out with answering phones, clean up, pump gas and anything else they can come up. The driver will also have to be on call for Friday and Saturday nights and must not have any criminal record.
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
