Joy of Children is a small preschool in Folsom. We are professional and personable. Job Title: Teacher/Substitutes
Duties:
- Provide instruction and support to students in early childhood development and education.
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs of children.
- Follow lesson plans provided by JOC teaching team, and ensure smooth transitions for preschoolers.
- Maintain a positive and inclusive preschool environment, that promotes enthusiasm for learning and excitement for participation.
- Help manage preschoolers' behavior and ensure a safe and respectful environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers to ensure continuity of nurturing and support.

Experience:
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
- Knowledge in childhood development, including at least six ECE units. (Enrolled is acceptable.)
- Ability to effectively communicate and engage with children ages 3-5 years old.
- Strong social skills with the ability to work well with other teachers as a team.
