We are looking for an experienced Fleet Manager who wants more than just another job. - Oversee the maintenance and operational readiness of the company’s OTR refrigerated fleet.
- Coordinate scheduled preventative maintenance to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Manage all roadside breakdowns, emergency repairs, towing, and vendor coordination to return equipment to service as quickly as possible.
- Develop and maintain relationships with repair facilities, dealerships, tire vendors, and roadside service providers throughout North America.
- Monitor fleet health, maintenance trends, and equipment performance to identify opportunities for improved reliability and reduced operating costs.
- Coordinate warranty repairs and track warranty recovery opportunities.
- Work closely with the Safety Department to ensure all equipment remains compliant with DOT, FMCSA, and company maintenance standards.
- Assist with maintaining vehicle inspection records, maintenance documentation, and regulatory compliance files.
- Coordinate annual inspections, preventative maintenance schedules, and required regulatory inspections.
- Track fleet maintenance costs, repair history, parts usage, and key operational performance indicators.
- Collaborate with Dispatch to minimize equipment downtime while maintaining service commitments to customers.
- Assist with asset planning, equipment lifecycle management, and fleet replacement recommendations.
- Identify opportunities to improve maintenance processes through technology, automation, and continuous improvement.
- Support ownership with operational planning as the company continues its rapid growth.
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
